What is Jubilate?
Jubilate is a co-ed treble choir of children and youth in grades five through twelve. The choir is formed through annual auditions, and rehearses weekly at Christ Church, Warwick during the academic year. Weekly music rehearsals are supplemented with education in music theory and history. Our repertoire emphasizes traditional Church music, including service music, chant and anthems both ancient and modern, and is enriched by modern sacred and secular music at the discretion of the director.
Where does Jubilate perform?
Jubilate performs quarterly in services at Christ Church and is available to sing in other local churches. Jubilate also gives regular public concerts, and travels for both for education and performance opportunities. Click here for photos from Jubilate's 2006-2007 performance season.

Who is the choir for?
Jubilate is for all youth with the raw musical talent, discipline and desire to take an active part in an exceptional music education program. Though the choir is unapologetically church based, it is not a tool for evangelism or conversion, but rather a vehicle for education and artistic achievement.
Why Christ Church?
Christ Church has a long tradition of excellent music ministry, and as a member parish of the world wide Anglican Communion, has a direct connection to one of the world's great sacred music heritages. Christ Church has an exceptional and experienced organist and choirmaster, several stand-out lay musicians with professional and near professional musical talent, and a "singing" congregation that is both appreciative of traditional church music, and accepting of musical innovation and growth. We draw upon all of these resources in building up the Jubilate program.

What is the commitment?
The growth and development of each chorister is realized by a commitment to excellence shared by Jubilate staff, Christ Church of Warwick and participating families.

→ Our Commitment to You
Participants can expect to have their lives meaningfully enriched in terms of both music education and the kind of personal growth that results from engaging in a challenging artistic endeavor. Jubilate is a community building and affirming project, welcoming youth from all local churches and schools and all family backgrounds.

→ Your Commitment to Jubilate
Church membership is not required for participation. Rather we require good, raw vocal talent and a serious commitment to participate fully in the project. An annual tuition of $100 per pupil is required, but tuition scholarships are available to insure no child is turned away for financial reasons. Additionally, participating families make a commitment to review the choir schedule, participate in scheduled rehearsals, services and concerts, and communicate limited but necessary absences to the choir manager. To this end, parents please review with your student any other academic or extracurricular activities (i.e., sports teams, dance lessons, drama club) with which they will be involved, and discuss how your family will manage the additional commitment expectations of Jubilate.
Jubilate - be joyful! Come before God's presence with a song! (Psalm 100)
